"Gillian Allard was a joy to work with though Art Track: Metro Art Programme. Her expression of interest set out a clear, achievable and exciting vision alongside relevant experience. Through the research and development phase of her design proposal, Gillian visited Dudley town centre. With a fine balance of her gentle humour alongside her genuine and inquisitive nature she enabled participants to feel at ease while having their portraits taken and sharing their stories. Her final piece for the Art Track Exhibition 'Dudley Futures' demonstrated her artistic vision, telling stunning visual stories of the people she had met. Her work was well received by stakeholders across the project including Dudley metropolitan representatives.
